Claudio Rojas is Managing Director at Hurt Capital, a founder-centric investment and venture capital platform that invests in growth stage companies and early-stage funds with an emphasis on fintech, artificial intelligence, and next-generation technologies.
For almost a decade, Claudio has established a track record in identifying world-class companies, investing during periods of uncertainty, and successfully holding for the long term. He holds domain expertise in founder-oriented ownership structures, artificial intelligence and blockchain applications in financial services, and mass market adoption of consumer-oriented technology – alongside an exceptionally long-term entrepreneurial mindset.
Claudio is a director, board member and advisor of several prominent organizations, including the Canada Fintech Forum, Holt Fintech Accelerator, Institute for Founder Centric Studies, and Ivey Venture Forum – a world-class conference held annually in Toronto with the mission of promoting collaboration, celebrating new ventures, and generating thought-leadership on how Canada can become the world’s leading innovation economy. He holds a Doctor of Laws from Western University, MBA from the Ivey Business School, has achieved all three levels of the CFA examinations, is a practitioner member of the European Corporate Governance Institute, and is a lawyer member of the Bar of Ontario.
